Order of service for the Blessing of the new [North] Cloister containing the cenotaph* and recumbent effigy of Fr Patten, 1964
*Although the word 'Cenotaph' nowadays means only Whitehall in London to most people, its dictionary meaning is of a "sepulchral monument without burial". This describes both Whitehall and also the several cenotaphs with recumbent effigies above them in the Shrine Church, as of Fr Patten and Fr Tooth.
